La producción libraria de Alfonso X testimonia la simbiosis perfecta entre las funciones de gobierno y la labor intelectual y sistematiza su ideario político y cultural, no solo en texto, sino también en imagen. A partir de las miniaturas liminares de los códices regios, se evidencia que el motivo icónico privilegiado en la representación personal de Alfonso X es el rey con el libro: se analizan las distintas variantes de este modelo iconográfico que estampa la amplia gama de atribuciones que conforman el concepto de autoría alfonsí y consolida el modelo de la realeza sapiencial castellana.

Two second sons of the Stuart dynasty who came as unexpected heirs to the throne lost their crown in depositions . Both of these kings, Charles I and James II , had a strong belief in a personal kingship over loyal subjects, which was at odds with the English concept of King-in-Parliament and the possibilities for subjects to participate in the rule of the kingdom. Charles I and James II lacked the natural confidence of born kings, and both tried to overcome this deficiency by overemphasizing their royal dignity. In doing so, they never realized that the generally accepted idea of a divine right of kings was to be articulated and represented, but not implemented in politics.

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 28 lapām. Tajā ir 24 attēli, 4 tabulas, 27 literatūras avoti. Darba mērķis: noskaidrot, vai izmantojot matemātisko modeli var paredzēt krāsu kauliņu sakārtošanas secības dažādu vecumu grupu pārstāvjiem bez krāsu redzes deficītiem. Metode: darbojoties ar matemātisko modeli, tika mainīts cilvēka vecums un noteikts krāsu kauliņu sakārtošanas secība Farnsworth D-15 testam. Rezultāti: matemātiskais modelis piefiksēja pirmas izmaiņas krāsu kauliņu sakārtošanas secībā 110 gadus vecam cilvēkam un konfūzijas lēņķis Vingrys & KingSmith metodē, kas ir vienāds ar -48,31°, norāda uz tritānam līdzīgo deficītu. While first generation Chinese American immigrants in The Woman Warrior attribute the power of transforming people into ghosts to the United States of America as a country, the questioning of a person’s humanity by calling them a “ghost” is not reserved for white people alone. Chinese American immigrants also run the risk of losing their humanity and becoming ghosts if they renounce their relatives and their heritage. The article traces mixed affiliations of the narrator of Maxine Hong Kingston’s The Woman Warrior (1976), permanently split between the world of Chinatown and broader American society outside Chinatown, both places crucial for the narrator in the on-going process of subjectivity construction. While both of these worlds constantly interpellate her, each of them entails a fair measure of hindrance and empowerment. The article undermines the criticism leveled at Kingston’s The Woman Warrior by a section of the Chinese American community represented primarily by Frank Chin.
